Who we are

Ravle is operated as an informal collaboration by Sananjayan Paramanantharajah, Leon Pullikkottil, and Benjamin Peterhans, based in Zurich, Switzerland. Full operator details are on the imprint page.

For privacy questions, write to hello@ravle.co.

02

What we collect

Only what's needed for the site to work and to email you when Ravle ships.

When you sign up

  • Your email address.
  • Your signup type — either "notify at launch" or "beta application".
  • A consent timestamp — the moment you tick the privacy box, kept as proof of consent.

When you visit the site

  • Standard web request data (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps) processed by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
  • Aggregated, anonymous usage data (page views, country, device class, performance metrics) via Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — no cookies, no cross-site profiling.
03

Why & legal basis

To email you about Ravle

We use your email and signup type to add you to the corresponding waitlist or beta audience and to email you product updates related to Ravle.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 6(6) Swiss FADP), which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form.

To keep the site healthy

Web request data and anonymous analytics let us detect abuse, fix bugs, and improve performance.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

04

Third parties

We use a small, vetted set of providers. They process data on our behalf, under written agreements, and never use it for their own purposes.

  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting, web analytics, and speed insights. Processes request metadata and serves the site. Privacy policy.
  • Resend (Drib, Inc.) (USA) — stores your email in the relevant audience and sends our updates. Privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC) — fonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com; Google may log the request (IP, user agent) as part of serving the font.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves Switzerland or the EU, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

05

Cookies & tracking

Ravle.co does not set tracking cookies, advertising IDs, or cross-site profiles. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are cookie-free by design.

The only data persisted in your browser is whatever your browser stores by default (HTTP cache, font cache). If we ever add cookies, we'll show a clear banner first.

06

How long we keep things

  • Signup email & type: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until Ravle stops operating — whichever comes first.
  • Server logs: short-term, kept by our hosting provider for security and rolled over according to their schedule.
  • Aggregated analytics: retained as anonymous statistics; not linkable back to you.
07

Your rights

Under GDPR and the Swiss FADP, you can ask us to:

  • Confirm what we hold on you and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your email and signup record ("right to be forgotten").
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time — future emails will stop. (Past lawful processing isn't affected.)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swiss FDPIC or your local EU data-protection authority.

The fastest way to do any of this: reply to one of our emails or write to hello@ravle.co. We'll action it within 30 days.
